About Willow
Fact: Aussies manage to kill an average of 72 million houseplants a year. Not because they don't care, but because plant care is harder than it looks. That's where Willow comes in. Our smart Sensor, Hub and app combine tech, lifestyle and horticulture to take the guesswork out of looking after plants. Since launching in late 2023, we've shipped internationally, grown a global app community and launched into Bunnings nationally. Now we're scaling fast into major retail across the globe and expanding our product lines.
We're looking for a Graphic Designer to work with our team three days a week. You'll be designing across paid ads, in-store point of sale, DTC landing pages, app assets and whatever else needs creative support. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move between formats quickly and keep quality high without getting stuck in the weeds.
What You Will Do:
You'll work across the whole business, creating:
- Paid ad creative for Meta, Google and other channels.
- Point of sale materials for retail partners like Bunnings and other major stockists globally.
- Exhibition support including stand, collateral, stickers etc.
- App visuals and in-app assets. Icons, onboarding screens, feature graphics.
- General brand creative. Email, product photography support, campaign assets, whatever's needed.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience as a graphic designer, ideally in a brand, agency or e-commerce environment.
- A portfolio that shows range. We want to see paid ads, landing pages or digital product work, not just logos and brand books.
- Strong skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. After Effects or similar motion tools are a bonus.
- An understanding of how design works in performance marketing. What makes a good ad vs a good landing page vs good POS.
- The ability to work independently and keep your own schedule, but stay responsive and collaborative with the team.
- Nice to have: experience designing for D2C/consumer brands.
Who We Are Looking For:
You're confident working across digital and physical formats. You don't need to be told what good looks like, but you're also not precious about feedback or fast iteration. We're not micromanagers, you'll be comfortable with autonomy but also love to collaborate with the wider team.
Why Work With Us:
You'll be working with a growing international brand at an exciting stage. We've launched nationally into Bunnings, we're scaling into major retail globally, and we're expanding our product lines. You'll have real creative input, work across a genuinely varied mix of projects, and see your work show up everywhere from Instagram to retail stores across the globe.
We offer a competitive salary and bonus structure, flexible working, generous benefits (including RAC discounts), and a genuinely supportive team culture. Most importantly, you’ll be helping build something that people around the world use every day.
If you want a role that’s varied, creative, hands-on and a bit scrappy in the best way, we’d love to hear from you.
