We are looking for a skilled Marketing Assistant to join our team in Rochester, New York. This contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to support various marketing initiatives and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver impactful campaigns. Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with vendors to manage promotional materials and in-store merchandise.
• Develop and implement rebate programs and marketing campaigns at both national and state levels.
• Make minor edits to marketing projects using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Provide comprehensive support to field sales teams in executing marketing strategies.
• Assist in the creation and design of promotional materials and organizational branding.
• Ensure compliance with procurement governance, risk management, and related frameworks.
• Manage social media platforms and email marketing campaigns to boost engagement.
• Organize and oversee events to ensure smooth execution and alignment with marketing goals.
• Monitor the effectiveness of marketing activities and provide insights for improvement.
• At least 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for basic design tasks.
• Strong knowledge of procurement governance and risk management frameworks.
• Ability to negotiate and manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Experience in handling social media platforms and executing email campaigns.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Creativity and attention to detail in developing marketing materials.
