Compensation & Commitment This is a freelance contract role. You will be compensated at an equivalent of $40–$50/hour (paid as a flat monthly retainer per client) for an estimated 10 hours of work per month, per client. There is ample opportunity to take on multiple client accounts as we scale.
About Us SparkTrail Marketing is a boutique social media marketing agency based in Westchester, NY. We help local businesses elevate their digital presence, connect with their community, and drive real growth through strategic, highly engaging social media content.
The Role We are looking for a creative, reliable Freelance Content Creator to capture and edit high-quality, short-form video content and photography for our local clients. If you know how to make a product pop, understand the pacing of a great Reel, and can turn around polished assets efficiently without needing your hand held, we want to work with you. This role is purely creative—no community management, scheduling, or analytics tracking required!
Monthly Deliverables (Per Client)
- On-Site Shooting: One monthly shoot per client (approx. 1.5–2 hours on location in the Westchester area).
- Video: 10 short-form, dynamic Reels/TikToks (incorporating trending audio, text overlays, and snappy cuts).
- Photo: 12–15 lightly edited, high-quality photos formatted for social media.
What We’re Looking For
- Solid Editing Skills: You know how to edit for retention. You are proficient in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar software.
- Equipment: Filming video on a late-model iPhone (13 Pro or newer) is perfectly acceptable, provided you understand lighting, framing, and stabilization. However, a dedicated, high-quality camera or DSLR is strongly preferred for the monthly photo deliverables.
- Trend-Savvy: You actively consume short-form content and know what styles, transitions, and audio tracks are currently performing well.
- Professionalism: You will be interacting directly with our clients on-site, representing the agency. Punctuality and a great attitude are mandatory.
- Local: Must have reliable transportation to travel to client locations throughout the Westchester area.
