Job Overview:
We are seeking an ongoing Freelance Social Media Content Creator who is passionate about storytelling through visuals and creating eye-catching content that engages, entertains, and resonates with diverse audiences. As the Content Creator, you will be responsible for ideating, producing/creating, and editing content across multiple social media platforms for a variety of CPG clients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop engaging visual content (photography, short-form video, graphic design) for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more).
- Participate in regular brainstorm sessions to generate fresh, on-brand content ideas.
- Pitch out-of-the-box concepts that position Dawning Digital’s clients as category leaders in their respective industries.
- Collaborate closely with creative leads, designers, and account managers to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Shoot and edit short-form videos (e.g., Reels, TikToks) covering various content types—from behind-the-scenes snippets to product showcases and campaign teasers.
- Monitor, interpret, and report on social media performance metrics weekly, using insights to refine strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on trends in social media, pop culture, and digital marketing, applying them to create timely and shareable content.
- Coordinate with other content creators and influencers to facilitate User-Generated Content (UGC) when relevant.
- Keep brand aesthetics consistent while infusing each piece of content with creativity and innovation.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience creating and curating content for social media, either in-house or at a creative/digital agency.
- Ability to combine creativity and strategy to produce content that not only looks great but also meets campaign objectives.
- Meticulous eye for detail and quality control.
- Strong passion for social media trends, video production, and the art of storytelling.
- Multitasking pro who can juggle multiple client projects without compromising on quality or meeting deadlines.
- Receptive to feedback and flexible in adapting to project pivots or evolving client needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to offsite locations for shoots or client meetings as needed.
