Agriculture Fairness Alliance (AFA) is a national advocacy & lobbying organization working to create a just and sustainable food system. We are currently in D.C. lobbying to make urgent change to the upcoming Farm Bill. As we continue to expand our efforts, we’re seeking a skilled web developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be passionate about using their skills to make a positive impact on the world.
As a grassroots organization with a limited budget, we understand that we may not be able to offer the most competitive rates. However, we believe that the right candidate will see the value in working with us and view their compensation as a contribution to a cause they care about. We’re looking for someone who shares our vision for a more just and sustainable food system. We are a Vegan Backed Lobbying Group who drives policy change at the federal level. We are known for our Farm Transition Legislation whereby we help Farmers by giving them options to use subsidies to transition from livestock farming to plant based farming. Other themes of policy change that we do: Vegan Food Accessibility, Farmer Inclusivity ensuring the BIPOC community receives subsidies, climate revitalization, food policy fairness and more.
