We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to oversee content creation, platform management, and performance optimization across our social media channels. This role partners closely with Marketing, Editorial, Production, Events, and Sales teams to support brand awareness, audience growth, and conversion across our media and events ecosystem.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Social Media Manager include:
Create, capture, edit, and publish high-quality video and visual content
Manage social media presence across multiple platforms, ensuring brand consistency
Travel with the Events department to conferences and industry events to capture live content
Implement tagging, tracking, and analytics to drive measurable conversions from social media
Plan and execute paid social media campaigns using data-driven insights
Test and evaluate experimental content formats and apply findings to core channels
Support Sales team members with LinkedIn content and posting strategies
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of proven experience managing social media for a media brand or event-driven organization
Portfolio showcasing social media work with results
Strong understanding of social analytics, conversion funnels, and audience behavior
Excellent communication and time-management skills
Ability to collaborate across departments and report to multiple stakeholders
Additional Skills (Nice to Have)
Familiarity with or interest in AI-assisted tools for content creation or editing
