Marketing Manager (Contract)

Summary
This position offers an exciting opportunity to step into a fast-paced marketing environment where you will provide essential coverage for organic social and content marketing programs. You will be responsible for the hands-on development and execution of content initiatives across brand channels, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain continuity of marketing operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex marketing briefs and leadership priorities into compelling social content while managing multiple workstreams and stakeholder relationships. You will serve as a key liaison between creative teams, vendors, and internal partners to ensure seamless content delivery and brand consistency.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day execution of organic B2B social media and content initiatives across brand channels
- Translate integrated marketing briefs and leadership priorities into social content plans and messaging
- Write, edit, and review social copy, video scripts, and executive point-of-view content
- Partner with design, video, and external vendors to brief, review, and deliver creative assets
- Coordinate content workflows, intake, reviews, and approvals with cross-functional stakeholders
- Support campaign-related and event-related social programs, including pre-event and post-event content
- Ensure content accuracy and alignment through collaboration with product, marketing, and compliance partners
- Monitor content performance and provide qualitative insights to improve future execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 to 7 years of experience in content marketing, social media, or integrated marketing roles
- 5 or more years of content writing and editing experience, including social media, blog posts, and video scripts
- 5 or more years of organic social media execution for a brand
- 3 to 5 years of content workflow and cross-functional coordination experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with content marketing and organic social media execution
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines independently
- Experience collaborating with creative, marketing, and cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with content workflows, creative briefing, and review processes
- Hands-on expertise with B2B social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn
- Proven ability to translate marketing strategies and product messaging into effective organic social media content
Additional Details
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 4 months
- Pay Range*: $34 - $38.50 per hr
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
