Position Overview
Reba Media & Marketing is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Email Content Creator to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor. This remote role focuses on creating engaging social media content and designing email campaigns for a variety of clients across multiple industries, including real estate, local businesses, and service-based brands.
Applicants must be located in Maryland or Pennsylvania.
The ideal candidate is visually creative, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to follow brand guidelines while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Create social media graphics and content using Canva
- Develop engaging visual and written content aligned with client branding
- Design and build email campaigns using template builders
- Assist with content creation for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn platforms
- Format and edit email newsletters, promotional campaigns, and announcements
- Follow content briefs, brand guidelines, and marketing direction provided
- Edit and revise content based on feedback
- Maintain consistent quality, branding, and formatting across projects
- Meet project deadlines and communicate progress as needed
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong working knowledge of Canva
- Understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn platforms
- Experience using email template builders such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, BeeFree, or similar platforms
- Basic understanding of email marketing best practices (layout, readability, mobile-friendly design)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable communication and responsiveness
- Must have access to and maintain their own computer, internet connection, and necessary equipment to complete assigned work

Schedule & Work Structure
- Remote position
- Work hours are project-based and determined by workload and assignment needs

Compensation
- $18 per hour (1099 independent contractor rate)
- Payment based on approved hours worked or project assignments
- Contractor is responsible for their own taxes and business expenses
Independent Contractor Status
This role is a freelance/independent contractor position. The contractor is responsible for managing their own schedule, equipment, and tax obligations in accordance with 1099 contractor guidelines.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 40.0 per week
