Body By Design is seeking a professional, organized, and client-focused Front Desk Receptionist & Social Media / Marketing Coordinator to join our wellness team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a polished front-desk environment, and is interested in growing their skills in operations, marketing, and client experience.
About the Role
This position serves as the first point of contact for our clients and plays a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience. In addition to front desk responsibilities, the role supports light studio operations and assists with marketing and social media initiatives. The position operates in a Windows-based computer environment and offers room for growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Client Services
- Greet clients in a professional, warm, and welcoming manner
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries promptly
- Schedule, confirm, and manage client appointments
- Check clients in and out efficiently
- Process client payments, including cash, credit card, and membership transactions, with accuracy and confidentiality
- Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Studio Operations
- Collect, wash, fold, and organize laundry
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, reception, and waiting areas
- Perform light cleaning duties (dusting, vacuuming, mirrors, trash removal)
- Support daily studio organization and presentation
Social Media & Marketing Support
- Assist with creating and posting content on Instagram, Facebook, and similar platforms
- Support basic graphic design and content creation using Canva
- Assist with promoting services, memberships, and special events
- Support outreach to local healthcare and wellness partners
- Assist with team events and promotional initiatives
Qualifications
Experience & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3+ years of customer service experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
Skills & Attributes
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and energetic demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a client-facing role
- Comfortable with social media platforms and trends
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Boulevard or similar scheduling software preferred
- Familiarity with Canva, Vistaprint, and team communication tools (e.g., Flock) a plus
