Compass Senior Living is seeking a
Freelance Audio Editor on a
Part-Time basis to support the Tiny Stories Project™ — a storytelling initiative that captures and shares the voices and life stories of senior living residents. This role plays a meaningful part in preserving memories and bringing resident stories to life through short-form audio and written transcripts.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing recorded audio into engaging one-minute segments, transcribing stories, and publishing content to the Tiny Stories Project website.

What You’ll Do
- Edit and clip audio recordings into approximately one-minute story segments using Adobe Audition and Clyp.it (or similar tools)
- Transcribe audio clips accurately to align with each story
- Upload audio files and transcripts to the Tiny Stories Project website (Wix)
- Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all published stories
- Meet and collaborate with Compass Senior Living’s Digital Marketing team to meet timelines and quality standards
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with Adobe Audition and Wix.com
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Prior experience with audio editing, podcasting, or digital storytelling preferred
This is a part-time, freelance, remote position with compensation of $20/hour. Hours are variable; typically, up to 10 hours per week, with occasional increase in hours based on submission volume and the number of resident stories received.
