Job Summary
We’re seeking a skilled Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to join our DGC team. The ideal candidate blends creativity and content creation, with proven experience in videography, video marketing, social media, graphic design, and digital advertising. You will create and optimize multimedia content, run performance-driven campaigns, support marketing operations, and act as a proactive assistant to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Video Content & Production
- Produce engaging video content for podcasts, social media, websites, and TV commercials.
- Conduct on-site videography for client projects; edit and repurpose clips into social and web assets.
- Transform video clips into polished Canva designs and templates for social channels and the website.
Graphic Design
- Design visual assets and layouts using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva for video content – social, digital, and website.
- Ensure brand consistency across all visual and written materials
Social Media & Content
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Curate client-driven content
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for content ideation, draft copy, and basic analytics/reporting.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide marketing operations support using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and manage files via Dropbox.
- Maintain asset libraries, project files, and documentation for campaigns and creative work.
Assistant to the CEO / Collaborative Support
- Serve as a reliable right-hand resource to the CEO: anticipate needs, manage follow-ups, organize tasks, and support executive-level projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of work.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of combined experience in videography/video editing, social media management, and digital marketing.
- Proven portfolio of video work (social clips, commercials, podcasts) and design samples.
- Proficiency with video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent), Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Local candidate required; ability to travel to client sites for on-site shoots weekly.
- Meets or exceeds all deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Film/Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience producing content for TV, social, website, or audio platforms (Spotify/podcast networks).
Compensation & Benefits
- Freelance contract work with pay ranging from $15-$19/hr.
