Junior Copywriter
At Hunter Marketing, content is never an afterthought. It’s a strategic tool, a creative craft and one of the most powerful ways we help brands connect with real people.
We’re looking for a Junior Copywriter to join our growing content team — someone early in their career who is obsessed with words, curious about strategy and excited to learn how great content supports bold ideas, integrated campaigns and meaningful outcomes.
This role is hands-on, collaborative and designed for growth. You’ll work alongside senior content strategists, designers, media experts and account teams — learning how content shows up across channels, industries and audiences.
The Role: You’ll support the development, execution and refinement of content across a wide range of client work, including:
- Write, edit, and optimize content for social media, websites, email campaigns, blogs and marketing materials
- Apply brand voice, tone and messaging guidelines consistently across platforms
- Collaborate with designers, account managers and senior writers to ensure content and visuals work together seamlessly
- Proofread and fact-check content for clarity, accuracy, grammar and AP style compliance
- Support content planning and brainstorming sessions by contributing ideas, research and creative input
- Assist in adapting content for different audiences, platforms and objectives
- Help manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment
This role is junior — but we still expect strong fundamentals.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-3 years of experience writing content (agency, internship, freelance or in-house)
• Experience writing for social media or digital platforms
• Strong attention to detail — you care about getting it right
• Ability to take feedback, apply it and improve quickly
• Comfort collaborating with multiple teams and personalities
• Interest in marketing, media, storytelling and brand strategy
• A pulse on culture, social platforms and how brands show up digitally
Bonus (but not required):
• Working knowledge of AP writing style
• Familiarity with content management systems or marketing tools
• Curiosity about analytics, performance and optimization
What It Means to Be a Hunter: Being a Hunter means you’re not siloed, invisible or stuck doing “busy work.” You’ll be supported, challenged and coached — and you’ll see your work out in the world.
We believe extraordinary work is built through:
• Collaboration

• Creativity
• Accountability
• Joy
Junior does not mean small impact here.
