Or maybe you run your own marketing shop, have experience in sporting or outdoor travel, and are looking to take on another client that actually understands the lifestyle you market. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes outdoors travel and can translate that passion into thoughtful, authentic marketing. You will take the lead on our Sporting division’s social media presence, with a strong focus on Instagram, while also collaborating on a variety of broader marketing initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead social media content creation and management for the Sporting division, with primary emphasis on Instagram
- Collaborate with the Sporting Marketing Lead to develop and execute content that reflects the Frontiers Sporting brand
- Collaborate with the Sporting Marketing Lead on strategy, campaigns, and content planning
- Work closely with the Director of Sporting Sales and Sporting Travel Advisors to surface stories, expertise, content, and timely opportunities
- Assist with additional marketing initiatives as needed, which may include email campaigns, blog content, website updates, and special projects
- Maintain brand voice, visual consistency, and messaging across all Sporting marketing efforts
Ideal Candidate
- Genuine interest in fly fishing and or sporting travel, with an understanding of the culture and audience
- Experience managing and growing Instagram or similar social platforms for brands, ideally in travel, outdoor, or lifestyle spaces
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with an eye for visuals and detail
- Comfortable collaborating with sales teams and advisors to translate expertise into compelling content
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a part-time role that may grow over time
Role Structure (Part-Time or IC)
- Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours per week, with potential to expand
- Preference for a Pittsburgh-area candidate who can be in the office on Wednesdays and work remotely the remainder of the week
- Open to part-time employees or independent contractors
- Will also consider a remote independent contractor or agency if the fit is right
- Reports to the Sporting Marketing Lead and works closely with the Director of Sporting Sales and Sporting Travel Advisors
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- 2 years of Marketing, Advertising, or Social Media Management Experience
- Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Business preferred
- Please provide writing sample, and an example of a social media account you’ve managed
- Skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe InDesign, Wordpress, Microsoft Office, Mailchimp or Constant Contact, and SEO
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with skill set experience.
- Eligibility to participate in the company's 401(k) program.
