Role Description - Must be Located in Florida
SoPro is looking for a Social Media Manager who understands that hospitality marketing is about selling an aspiration. We manage a portfolio of lifestyle Florida hotels and restaurant brands, and we need a contractor who can jump in, capture the essence of a property, and turn it into a high-performing digital ecosystem.
As an agency partner, you’ll be the bridge between our clients’ brand standards and the fast-moving pace of social trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Strategy: Develop and execute a monthly content calendar that aligns with seasonal hospitality trends, property events, and booking goals.
- On-Site Content Capture: Travel to client properties to lead "Content Days." You’ll be responsible for capturing high-end iPhone/Prosumer footage of interiors, culinary experiences, and lifestyle moments.
- Full-Cycle Video/Photo Editing: Act as a one-person production house. You’ll edit raw assets into polished Reels and static imagery that align with agency-level aesthetic standards.
- UGC & Influencer Liaison: Execute the agency’s influencer strategy by sourcing creators, managing outreach, shipping/booking logistics, and ensuring all UGC meets the client's brand guidelines.
Required Expertise
- Hospitality Veteran: You have 3–5 years of experience working specifically with hotels, resorts, or dining groups (either in-house or agency-side).
- Visual Storyteller: You possess an "editorial eye." You know how to style a table or frame a room to make it look five-star.
- Editing Power User: Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere/Rush, and Lightroom/Canva is non-negotiable.
- Client-Facing Professionalism: Since you’ll be on-site at our clients' properties, you must be a professional communicator who can represent the agency effectively.
Requirements
- Portfolio showcasing hospitality-specific content (Video/Photo/Editing).
- Expertise in platform-specific tools (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest).
- Ability to travel to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and other Florida cities for content capture as needed.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently.
