Position Summary
This is an in-office role starting Fall 2025.
We are seeking a motivated
AI Marketing Intern to help expand our brand’s digital presence through innovative, AI-powered marketing initiatives. This intern will support campaigns across platforms—including Reddit and other online communities—leveraging AI tools to optimize content, automate engagement, and analyze performance. The ideal candidate is passionate about the intersection of marketing, data, and artificial intelligence and excited to experiment with new approaches to community engagement and brand storytelling.
This internship offers hands-on experience in
AI-assisted marketing strategy,
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO),
community engagement, and
analytics, while helping shape how Domo shows up authentically across digital communities.
Key Responsibilities
AI-Powered Marketing & Optimization
- Support AI-driven marketing experiments, helping improve content performance and discoverability.
- Collaborate on GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) initiatives—analyzing how AI-generated summaries and search experiences display Domo content and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Use AI tools to analyze marketing data, identify patterns, and recommend insights that enhance campaign performance.
Community Engagement (Reddit + Others)
- Actively engage in relevant online communities to build credibility and positive brand awareness.
- Participate in Reddit discussions (posting, commenting, and sharing insights) while maintaining authenticity and value-first communication.
- Monitor subreddit and social mentions of Domo, responding thoughtfully and identifying engagement opportunities.
AI Insights & Analytics
- Track performance across channels using AI tools and analytics dashboards.
- Measure engagement metrics (traffic, leads, sentiment, and forum visibility) and report on campaign performance.
- Use data insights to suggest new AI-driven marketing tactics.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, SEO, GEO, and content teams to align messaging and community strategies.
- Share learnings from online interactions and AI experiments to inform broader marketing efforts.
Innovation & Experimentation
- Explore new AI marketing technologies and share insights with the team.
- Test emerging trends in AI-assisted audience targeting, personalization, and automation.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Understanding of digital marketing, community engagement, SEO, and GEO concepts.
- Familiarity with Reddit and other social/community platforms.
- Proficiency in using AI tools and a curiosity for emerging technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with curiosity about how AI can drive marketing performance.
- Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and task management tools (e.g., Asana) preferred.
