About The Role
Accelerate Change is looking for a freelance Digital Graphic Designer to produce high-quality digital assets across a range of platforms and projects. This part-time remote position is ideal for a designer who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a passion for visual storytelling, particularly through dynamic and engaging Google Slides presentations.
This role involves designing impactful slide decks, creating visual assets for social media, videos, and podcasts, and contributing to style guides and other digital collateral. The designer will participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborate across teams to ensure brand consistency and compelling visual communication.
Responsibilities
- Design visually compelling, brand-aligned slide presentations using Google Slides
- Maintain brand identity and visual standards across all presentation and digital content
- Create engaging social and digital media assets for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Design graphics for video and podcast projects
- Produce various digital assets including documents, style guides, and other collateral
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions
- Deliver high-quality work efficiently under tight timelines
- Utilize illustration, motion graphics, and presentation design skills based on personal capabilities
What We're Looking For
- A demonstrated commitment to social change and civic engagement, especially in BIPOC and low-income communities
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in digital/social media design, especially creating slide presentations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A portfolio that showcases slide decks and impactful social media content
- A self-motivated, deadline-oriented mindset with strong time management skills
Compensation
This is a 3-month part-time freelance position with an estimated 5–10 hours of work per week. Compensation is $40–$45 per hour. There is potential for the contract to be extended.
