We are looking for a Freelance Associate Technical Designer, Cut & Sew Knits for a top, contemporary fashion brand in NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with maintaining and tracking technical specs
- Assisting with grading specs and garment measurements
- Reviews samples against design package to ensure all specifications, construction and design details are adhered to
- Attends fit sessions and assists with fit comments from concept to TOP of assigned classifications
- Communicates daily with vendors, Merchants, Design, and Production, Overseas offices, Suppliers and Customers team
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in fashion industry – cut & sew knits
- Expert In Excel
- Must be organized, multi-tasker
- Driven toward technical accuracy
- Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately
- Effective communicator on multiple levels
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
- 3+ years of experience
- Pattern Making Experience
