SALARY RANGE: $79,200 - $108,900 DOE

Job Summary: The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a key role in achieving SRCHs service objectives and advancing our vision for a just and healthy community where all people can achieve their full potential for health and well-being. The position is responsible for creating and managing on-brand, culturally responsive communications for SRCH patients, staff, and donors across multiple channels. The candidate will be inspired by working as part of a close-knit team serving a big mission, motivated by learning, and happy delivering results in a fast-paced environment. The position reports to the Chief Development Officer and is a member of a four-person marketing and development team that works closely with operational and clinical team members across the SRCH to ensure communication, outreach, and development goals are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing and Communications (70%)

Responsible for development, design, and implementation of internal and external communications and marketing for the health centers and our programs.

Lead development and implementation of an annual communications and marketing plan to promote SRCH services to patients and community partners and engage donors and supporters.

Oversee the day-to-day planning and implementation of all communications efforts, including identifying and managing contracted resources as needed.

Use communications to support a vibrant staff environment, and employee recruitment and retention.

Create, update, and manage flyers, brochures, marketing materials, and a monthly staff newsletter, ensuring a reliable flow of information, and brand and messaging consistency.

Manage and enhance SRCHs website, intranet, Google, and social media presence.

Create and manage targeted campaigns that engage patients, potential employees, and donors in goals around health, well-being, and SRCHs mission and programs.

Research and analyze marketing data to inform planning, stakeholder engagement, execution, and continuous improvement.

Contribute to media relations by maintaining media contact lists, identifying news opportunities, sharing information through media channels, and tracking PR hits
Management and Oversight (20%)

Coordinate with development team member(s) to ensure integrated planning and execution of all marketing, outreach, and development activities.

Manage relationships with marketing vendors and freelance creative contractors.

Establish and oversee budgets for marketing and communication activities.
Outreach and Community Events (10%)

Organize and/or support various events to help promote SRCH or SRCHs presence at community events.

Coordinate event logistics including printed materials, mailers/invitations, gifts and/or prizes.

Track outcomes and expenses related to fundraising and/or marketing events.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree preferred or career experience sufficient to demonstrate the required knowledge and skills. Masters degree or major in Communications, Marketing, or Business a plus.

Five+ years experience in marketing and communications roles required, and experience in health care or related fields a plus.

Two years' experience in project management and supervision.
Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to communicate warmly and clearly in both marketing products and team processes.

Success managing projects and supervising individuals or teams towards excellent outcomes.

Extremely detail oriented and organized, with the strong ability to successfully multi-task as necessary or requested.

Ability to respond adeptly to rapidly changing priorities and ability to work well under pressure.

Proven ability to work unsupervised and to make decisions and solve problems independently, effectively and creatively.

Demonstrated ability to organize thoughts and present them clearly, verbally and in writing, and communicate effectively and sensitively with people of varied cultural backgrounds and experiences, including the constructive use of communications and outreach for social and behavioral change purposes.

Proven ability to implement brand guidelines, and experience with design software/platforms, and website and content editing/publishing platforms.

Familiarity with search engine optimization and Google Analytics.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with confidential materials.

Bilingual Spanish and English (read, write, speak) preferred.
