Our retailer client is seeking a Senior Photo Art Director to lead the creative vision across multiple channels, ensuring a visually compelling and cohesive brand experience. As a key leader on the creative team, you will direct high-impact photo shoots, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape the look and feel of imagery for e-commerce, print, social media, and advertising campaigns.
- This role is onsite at their NYC office 2-3 days per week!**
The Senior Photo Art Director Will
- Develop and execute photography concepts that align with brand strategy and marketing objectives
- Lead and direct high-profile photo shoots, ensuring consistency in quality, storytelling, and brand voice
- Collaborate with creative directors, stylists, photographers, producers, and post-production teams to bring campaigns to life
- Oversee image selection, retouching, and final asset delivery to ensure a premium visual standard
- Partner with merchandising, marketing, and digital teams to create compelling visual narratives that drive engagement and conversion
The Senior Photo Art Director Has
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in photo art direction in retail, fashion, or lifestyle brands
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in directing photo shoots, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
- Deep understanding of brand aesthetics, photography trends, and digital content strategies
- Experience working with photographers, stylists, models, and production crews
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
