Job description

This role is a freelance opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager who will support the development and execution of brand partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating sales marketing materials, ideating social media-driven creative solutions, executing cross-platform activations, and managing various projects. This position offers the chance to design innovative, revenue-generating partnership solutions across digital and social media platforms, supporting major events and programming initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Development and Execution of Sales Marketing Materials:

Lead RFP responses by developing strategically driven client solutions through team brainstorming sessions.
Create packaging strategies that unify themes across platforms to drive additional revenue.
Collaborate with the programming team to package editorial ideas and develop new advertising opportunities.
Educate internal teams on marketing solutions to enhance awareness of offerings.
Travel as necessary for shoots during execution phases, facilitating communication between clients and creative partners on-site.

Partnership Execution:

Manage daily aspects of client campaigns, including integrations, social-first initiatives, and shoppable executions.
Oversee post-sell processes including recap presentations, clips, air checks, digital links, screenshots, and invoicing as required.

Internal Partner Communication & Facilitation:

Cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams (programming/editorial, sales, marketing, research, legal) for efficient communication.
Prioritize opportunities; manage timelines and workflow while reporting progress to senior leadership.
Manage tracking systems providing weekly updates on project status.
Analyze properties post-completion, collaborating with research and sales teams to deliver accurate results and identify future growth opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing or ad sales within a digital media agency, marketing firm, or entertainment company
Proficient in social media and digital platforms, with experience in executing multi-media marketing programs
Experience collaborating with executive stakeholders at the Director level and above
Strong skills in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness
Eager to learn and enhance skill sets continuously
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Adept at multi-tasking with the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines independently
Exceptional interpersonal skills with effective communication capabilities across all organizational levels and external clients
Excellent writing skills including the ability to develop presentations
Interest in new innovations and social media platforms
