Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented, 2D Production Designer to support the Americas market, reporting directly to the Associate Creative Director. This individual will lead the execution of visual merchandising initiatives aligned with our innovative brand goals, ensuring all designs meet global brand guidelines. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with extensive knowledge of print production and installation processes, able to deliver seamless solutions from concept to execution while tailoring messaging to various consumer profiles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead VM production by designing and developing visual merchandising solutions for the Americas market.
- Organize and prepare files for final artwork release to vendors.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising Americas, to create design solutions across multiple fixtures.
- Creatively address layout challenges while maintaining brand consistency.
- Adapt existing designs to various fixture formats and sizes.
- Uphold brand design standards across all retail touchpoints.
Qualifications:
- Located in NYC or surrounding areas.
- BA/BS/BFA in Graphic Design or Industrial Design with graphic design experience.
- 3+ years of experience in in-store design roles.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Extensive knowledge of print production and design for retail.
- Strong understanding of branding, graphic storytelling, and planograms within retail environments.
- Familiarity with retailer specifications and technical drawings.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and provide/receive constructive feedback.
- Flexible and adaptable to fast-paced work environments.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to align design solutions with cross-functional objectives.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects with varying timelines.
