Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and skilled Freelance Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, particularly within the e-commerce sector, and possess a keen eye for usability and user interface (UI) design. This role requires a proactive individual who can conduct user research and translate findings into visually appealing and functional designs that enhance the user experience.
Duties
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and objectives.
- Create engaging and effective designs for various digital platforms, including websites and email marketing campaigns.
- Utilize design tools and technologies such as JavaScript, AJAX, Bootstrap, and Node.js to develop responsive layouts.
- Conduct user research to gather insights on usability and improve design effectiveness.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that align with client branding and goals.
- Ensure all designs are optimized for performance across different devices and browsers.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a designer in e-commerce or related fields.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
- Strong understanding of UI principles and usability best practices.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Node.js, and Bootstrap is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A portfolio showcasing previous design work relevant to e-commerce or digital platforms.
