Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Aircraft Maintenance Instructor / Aircraft Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience on Embraer aircraft platforms to join our training team.
The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality theoretical and/or practical training in accordance with FAA and EASA regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring trainees develop the competencies required for safe and effective aircraft maintenance operations.

This role requires technical expertise, instructional capability, and flexibility to deliver training within the USA and internationally.

Aircraft Experience (Any of the following)

Embraer 170 / 190 Lineage 1000
Embraer 135 / 145 - Legacy 600/650

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and deliver theoretical and practical aircraft maintenance training programs for Embraer 135/145 and/or Embraer 170/190 maintenance personnel.
Conduct training sessions including:
General Familiarization
Line Maintenance
Base Maintenance
Troubleshooting and Fault Isolation
Perform and explain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine system troubleshooting.
Assess trainee performance through examinations, practical evaluations, and competency assessments.
Develop, update, and maintain training manuals, presentations, and course materials in alignment with current regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate with internal team members in classroom and practical training environments to support continuous improvement.
Work with airline operators, MROs, and aviation authorities to ensure training effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
Deliver training domestically and internationally, as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of proven aircraft maintenance experience on Embraer 135/145 and/or Embraer 170/190.
Strong knowledge of ATA chapters, maintenance documentation, and troubleshooting procedures.
Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems.
Solid understanding of practical maintenance procedures and real-world troubleshooting scenarios.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and presentation skills suitable for classroom and practical instruction.
Strong commitment to aviation safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Previous instructional or mentoring experience is highly preferred.
Ability and willingness to work as a freelancer and travel when required.
Able to travel within US and Internationaly
