Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a PLC Programmer to join our client's team on a freelance/contract basis for an integration project using BMW V8.3 standard. The successful candidate will have at minimum 3 years experience with the standard.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement PLC programs in accordance with BMW V8.3 standards;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications;
Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operation;
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including program changes, configurations, and system architectures;
Provide technical support and training to operational staff and end-users;
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle; and
Continuously monitor and improve system performance and reliability.

Qualifications & Skills Required;

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering or related OR relevant experience;
Strong PLC Programming experience, specifically with V8.3 standard;
Strong knowledge of industrial automation & control systems engineering;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
