Who We Are

The Door | idea house is a creative communications and marketing agency working at the intersection of culture, creativity and commerce. We specialize in consumer brands, fashion, beauty, sports, entertainment, celebrity and talent, lifestyle, hospitality, food and beverage, spirits, real estate and social impact, partnering with established names, emerging businesses and influential personalities to build brands, spark conversation and drive meaningful business results.

Our work brings together public relations, social media, paid media, AEO, branded content, creator marketing, brand partnerships, experiential marketing and creative storytelling. We believe the most effective marketing doesn’t simply reach audiences, it becomes part of the conversations and culture that matter to them.

We are entrepreneurial by nature, collaborative by design and passionate about creating work that breaks through. We move quickly, think creatively, challenge conventions and take pride in delivering exceptional results for our clients.

We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We value curiosity, initiative, accountability and people who bring both big ideas and the determination to make them happen.

The Opportunity

The Door is looking for a Social Media Manager, Strategy & Content to join our social media team.

This is an opportunity for a socially fluent, creative and highly organized professional who understands both the strategy behind great social media and the hands-on work required to bring it to life.

We are looking for someone who can develop thoughtful social strategies, manage content calendars, identify cultural opportunities and independently create engaging, platform-native content.

This is not a strategy-only or account management position. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing a content plan, capturing video at a client event, editing a Reel, writing compelling copy or analyzing what worked and why.

You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of brands, businesses and personalities spanning consumer products, fashion, beauty, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, hospitality, spirits, real estate and social impact, collaborating closely with our social, creative, PR and influencer teams.

We are looking for someone who is social-native, culturally curious, resourceful and excited about helping brands become part of the conversations that matter. The ideal candidate understands how to develop distinctive social content for different audiences, industries and brand personalities, from established consumer brands and emerging startups to cultural institutions and high-profile talent.
