About Techopolis

Techopolis Online Solutions, LLC is a small, independent software company developing apps, artificial intelligence tools, and digital services. We're passionate about building useful technology that works for everyone, including people with disabilities.

We're a growing company looking for someone who can help us introduce our products to more customers and turn marketing ideas into measurable results.

About the Opportunity

We're seeking a creative, dependable Freelance Marketing Coordinator to help grow awareness of our products, reach potential customers, and support business development.

This is a hands-on opportunity combining marketing research, content creation, campaign execution, and sales outreach.

You'll work directly with our founder, Michael Doise, and Chief Operations Officer, Taylor Arndt.

We're looking for someone who can take initiative, develop realistic marketing ideas, and put those ideas into action with a limited budget.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Research

Research potential customers, competitors, and market opportunities.
Identify cost-effective ways to promote our software products.
Recommend practical marketing strategies based on our business goals.

Content Creation and Campaigns

Write engaging marketing copy for websites, App Store listings, email campaigns, and social media.
Develop and execute approved marketing campaigns.
Help maintain consistent messaging across our products and marketing channels.
Create accessible, professional marketing materials.

Sales and Business Development

Identify potential customers, partnerships, and business opportunities.
Research and develop qualified sales leads.
Assist with outreach and follow-up communications.
Recommend ways to improve customer acquisition.

Performance and Reporting

Monitor campaign results and marketing performance.
Provide concise progress updates.
Recommend adjustments based on results and customer feedback.

Required Qualifications

Practical experience promoting a product, business, organization, event, or personal project to a real audience.
Experience personally creating marketing materials or executing promotional activities. Coursework alone does not satisfy this requirement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, customer research, or customer acquisition.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet agreed deadlines.
Interest in technology, software, mobile apps, or artificial intelligence.
Willingness to learn and apply accessible marketing practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required:

Marketing software, apps, or digital products.
Lead generation, sales outreach, or business development.
Email marketing or content marketing.
Marketing analytics and performance tracking.
Working with startups or small businesses.

Students, recent graduates, and early-career marketing professionals are encouraged to apply.

Relevant experience may include employment, internships, freelance projects, volunteer activities, student organizations, or independently operated businesses.

We value demonstrated skills, creativity, initiative, and results over formal job titles.

Work Arrangement and Compensation

This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity.

Pay: $20 per hour.
Hours: Up to 10 hours per month initially.
Monthly compensation: Up to $200 based on approved hours worked.
Schedule: Flexible, with mutually agreed project deadlines.
Equipment: Contractors provide their own computer and necessary tools.
Additional work: More projects or hours may become available as Techopolis grows, but are not guaranteed.

Additional hours must be approved in advance.

Applicants must reside in the United States and be legally authorized to perform the contracted services.

Accessibility and Collaboration

Accessibility is central to our mission.

Our leadership team uses screen readers, so marketing materials, documents, and progress reports must follow accessible communication practices.

These include clear document structure, descriptive links, meaningful alternative text for images, and captions when appropriate.

Previous accessibility experience is not required. We're happy to help the right candidate learn these practices.

How to Apply

Please submit your résumé and a brief cover letter explaining your interest in Techopolis.

Your application must include one example of real marketing work you personally completed.

Tell us:

What product, business, organization, or project you promoted.
Who your intended audience was.
What marketing activities or materials you personally created.
What results you observed and what you learned.

You don't need to demonstrate enormous sales numbers or a large marketing budget. We want to understand your initiative, practical experience, and ability to learn from results.

Links to previous marketing projects, writing samples, campaigns, or portfolios are welcome.
