Part Time Social Media Manager

Position Overview:

As a Social Media Manager at Team Foster, your primary responsibility will be to develop and produce engaging, informative, and high-quality content for various social media platforms to help support Team Foster's mission of supporting injured and disabled Veterans through the power of accredited, life-saving service dogs. You will collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to create content that aligns with the Team Foster mission. This role requires a strong understanding of content strategy, exceptional writing skills, and proficiency in multimedia content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content that align with Team Foster’s mission.

2. Work closely with the marketing team, designers, videographers, and other stakeholders to execute content initiatives.

3. Actively engage with our social media community by responding to comments and messages and thoughtfully interacting with like-minded accounts to build relationships and increase visibility.

4. Content Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines. Ensure that all content is error-free, engaging, and aligned with the organization's messaging.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience as a Content Creator or similar role.

- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.

- Proficiency in creating content for various digital platforms and channels.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective content requirements.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Creative mindset with the ability to generate original and innovative ideas.

- Video editing skills required.

- Veteran or Veteran-affiliation preferred, but not required
