Title: Internal Communications Manager

Client: A large, mission-driven healthcare organization based in New York City, with a strong focus on serving its local community.

Engagement: CONTRACT, 5-month maternity leave coverage

Location: Hybrid - 2 days/week, downtown NYC

Pay Rate: $80-95/hour

What you'll do

Own and write internal communications, including company-wide emails, weekly communications, announcements, holiday messaging, internal signage, and intranet content
Partner with stakeholders across the organization to gather information and turn it into polished employee communications
Interface directly with the CEO and other senior executives to gather information, understand messaging needs, and manage communications
Manage communications projects end-to-end, including intake, drafting, stakeholder coordination, approvals, and delivery

Ideal profile

Strong, hands-on internal/employee communications experience
Excellent writer; executive communications writing experience is highly preferred
Experience working directly with CEOs and/or senior leadership
Strong executive presence — polished, confident, and comfortable navigating senior-level stakeholders
Strong project management and organizational skills
Someone who can both write the work and drive the process — not purely a writer and not purely a communications PM
