We’re looking for a Temporary Senior Designer to join the Madden NYC team.

This role is ideal for a designer with a strong technical design background and extensive experience in denim and woven apparel. While trend awareness and creativity are important, we’re specifically looking for someone who is highly proficient in creating initial specs, technical packages, and managing development from concept through production.

Key qualifications:

• 7–10+ years of women’s apparel design experience

• Strong denim and woven bottoms expertise

• Advanced technical design skills, including initial specs and tech packs

• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrication, washes, trims, and development processes

• Ability to communicate technical comments clearly with overseas factories

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple developments simultaneously

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Position Details:

• Temporary freelance/contract role

• Immediate start preferred

• Hybrid schedule based in NYC (WFH Fridays)

• Initial 2-month assignment with potential to extend
