About Us

South Shore Nassau City Lifestyle is a hyper-local luxury lifestyle magazine covering the South Shore Nassau community — the people, businesses, restaurants, and stories that make this area special. We're building our editorial team ahead of launch and looking for writers who know the area and can bring its stories to life.

What You'll Do

Write engaging, well-researched feature articles profiling local businesses, residents, restaurants, and community events
Conduct interviews with local business owners and community members
Deliver polished, publication-ready copy that matches our editorial voice and style guide
Collaborate with our editorial team on story ideas and assignments

What We're Looking For

Strong writing and storytelling skills, with a portfolio or writing samples to share
Local knowledge of the South Shore Nassau area — you live in or near the community and understand what makes it tick
Ability to meet deadlines and take direction on style and tone
Comfortable conducting interviews and doing light research

Nice to Have

Photography experience (a big plus — writers who can also supply quality photos for their stories will stand out)
Previous experience writing for magazines, local publications, or similar lifestyle content
