Reporting to: Social Media Manager

Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Location: Hybrid - New York, Remote Eligible

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights seeks talented freelance content creators to support our Social Media Manager with short-form video production and on-camera work 🎥✨

A successful candidate must have the following skills and experiences:

Comfortable being on camera and can bring energy and authenticity to your videos.
Passion for social justice and human rights and are eager to contribute to a cause that makes a difference.
Demonstrated experience in video editing and familiar with the tools needed to create high-quality content (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Canva).
Ability to stay on top of social media trends and understand how to create content that resonates across platforms.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
Creative self-starter who can take direction but also bring your own ideas to the table.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional time management, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once.
Believes in inclusivity when working with colleagues with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Preferred but not required qualifications:

Background in non-profit or human rights space

Availability and Compensation:

Average 10-15 hours per week
Temporary Part-time, hourly rate range of $80-$100 per hour, dependent on level of experience and on-camera work
This position is eligible for overtime pay.
