About the Organization:

Reasons to Believe, a Christian nonprofit organization, is dedicated to opening people to the gospel by revealing God in science. Our international team of STEMM scholars and theologians show the harmony between the latest scientific discoveries and the Bible.

Responsibilities:

Write engaging and informative SEO blog posts based on detailed briefs.
Research assigned topics related to Christian theology and science.
Help translate complex topics into easy and interesting content.
Ensure content accurately reflects the organization's beliefs.
Conduct interviews (as needed) with the organization’s staff scientists and theologians to clarify information or obtain expert insights.
Adhere to the organization's style guide and SEO best practices.
Deliver content on time with excellent quality.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a professional writer, with a strong portfolio in nonfiction educational blogging.
Able to distill complex information into concise, technically accurate but reader-friendly prose.
Keen understanding of Christian theology and a passion for sharing faith-based knowledge.
Excellent research, writing, and proofreading skills.
Understanding of SEO best practices.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Compensation:

Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience, assignment complexity, and length of the content. Specific rates will be discussed and agreed upon before the start of each assignment, ensuring fair compensation that reflects the demands of the work involved.
