This fully remote contract opportunity is designed for an experienced, well-rounded designer who thrives in an in-house or agency environment, can take projects from concept through final production, and brings both strong creative thinking and hands-on execution. The Digital Designer will support a growing in-house creative agency within a large, industry-leading energy organization, developing polished, brand-aligned creative across digital, web, print, social media, direct mail, broadcast, video, animation, and other marketing channels. This role is ideal for a versatile designer with 5–7 years of agency or in-house creative experience, a strong multi-channel portfolio, advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills, and the ability to confidently manage projects from initial concept through final delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop creative concepts across digital, web, print, social media, direct mail, broadcast, video, and animation.
Manage multiple creative projects and deadlines simultaneously from concept through production and launch.
Design websites, web banners, social assets, presentations, advertising, marketing collateral, and campaign creative.
Create and refine typography, iconography, layouts, interface elements, illustrations, animations, and branded assets.
Apply UI and front-end design principles to responsive, visually compelling digital experiences.
Produce pixel-perfect digital assets and high-resolution, print-ready deliverables.
Support motion graphics, video, animation, and multimedia production.
Collaborate with creative, marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders on campaign objectives and creative direction.
Present creative concepts and design recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Maintain consistency with established brand standards while identifying opportunities to elevate creative execution.
Work within CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, SDL Tridion, or similar systems.
Ensure final assets meet production specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.

Qualifications

5–7 years of professional design experience within an agency, in-house creative team, or marketing organization preferred.
Strong commercial portfolio demonstrating digital, web, print, social, campaign, and multi-channel design.
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and related applications.
Strong knowledge of UI design, typography, layout, color, composition, and visual hierarchy.
Front-end design experience and understanding of responsive digital experiences.
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, SDL Tridion, or comparable CMS platforms.
Experience with motion graphics, video, animation, or multimedia creative.
Experience working within established brand guidelines.
Strong photo-editing and image-manipulation capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred.
Ability to work fully remote during Central Time Zone business hours.
