Job Title: Freelance Director of Photography (As-Needed)

Power Couch Media is a digital marketing and media agency based in Orlando, FL. We create high-quality commercial content, websites, and paid media campaigns for a diverse range of clients—including small businesses, funded start-ups, and mid-market brands. We’re looking to add a creative, reliable freelance Director of Photography (DP) to our network to lead visual execution on video productions.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a DP with a strong creative eye and technical skillset who can light and shoot clean, professional footage across a variety of production styles. From interviews and brand films to high-energy commercial spots, you’ll be responsible for owning the look and feel of each project. You should be comfortable working with a small crew and working solo in some cases.

Key Qualifications:

Total professionalism and on-set leadership
Extremely responsive to communication (text/email)
Flexible availability with no major ongoing obligations (e.g., full-time job)
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to productions in Orlando, Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville
Strong experience working with a small crew or solo
Ability to handle lighting, camera operation, and composition independently when needed
Camera/gear ownership is a plus, but not required
Comfortable working in fast-paced, client-facing environments
Excellent communicator and problem-solver

Position Details:

This is an as-needed freelance role
May grow into a part-time or guaranteed-hours position for the right candidate
Pay is based on experience, gear, and portfolio
Projects include branded content, interviews, commercials, and digital campaigns
