Paintbucket Nails, one of NYC's premier nail salons located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is seeking a part-time Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. If you have experience working with custom themes on Shopify, designing homepage updates, crafting engaging emails using Attentive, and creating eye-catching social media ads for Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, we want to hear from you!

Featured in renowned publications such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Pop Sugar, Byrdie, and more, we have gained recognition as one of the best nail salons in New York City. Our mission is to provide customers with a fun and indulgent experience, offering a wide range of services including manicures, pedicures (gel/polish), nail art, and apres gel extensions in a beautifully curated space.

At Paintbucket, we are known for our engaging social media presence where we showcase nail art trends and conduct nail trend round-ups. In addition to our salon services, we produce press-on nails, nail wraps, and a growing product line, making us a leader in the beauty and nail care industry.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with founder directly to design and implement captivating homepage updates for our Shopify website.
Create eye-catching and conversion-driven social media ads for Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
Design and deploy engaging emails using Attentive to keep our audience informed about our latest offerings and promotions.
Work with custom themes on Shopify, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly online shopping experience.
Contribute to light packaging design for our growing product line.
Collaborate with our creative team to maintain our high standards of design quality and innovation.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate fresh design elements into our online and social media presence.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Experience with Shopify, including custom theme design.
Knowledge of email design and deployment using Attentive or similar platforms.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in web design, email marketing, and social media ads.
Experience in beauty or fashion-related design is a plus.
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
A passion for beauty, nail art, and a keen eye for design trends.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Must be located in the NYC area and available to meet in person 2 times a week.

Hybrid Role:

This is a hybrid role, and the selected candidate must be located in the New York City area. We require the designer to be available for in-person meetings at our Williamsburg, Brooklyn location two times a week. The in-person collaboration is essential to maintain the creative synergy of our team.
