Job Description:

We are looking for a creative superstar with mad Graphic Design skills to join our mystery making team – exceptional talent and creativity a must! This individual will be tasked with producing visually compelling designs that authentically represent the excitement, intrigue, and unique nature of our murder mystery parties.

As a Graphic Designer, you will spearhead the development of visual assets throughout the organization. This includes the design of mystery materials, collateral for various parties and themes, assets for social media, web and email, landing pages, event signage, and the creation of evidence utilized in our mysteries.

This role is pivotal within our organization, serving dual functions within the marketing and communications team to enhance our brand visibility, and within the creative team to generate original and inspiring murder mystery parties.

Responsibilities:

Envision, design, and generate superior visual materials for both digital and print mediums. This includes, but is not limited to, designs for mystery materials, party collateral, evidence, social media assets, web/email assets, and digital graphics.
Manage multiple design projects concurrently, ensuring project deadlines are met while adapting to shifting priorities.
Maintain and ensure consistency in the company’s visual identity.
Bring fresh and innovative design ideas to the table, contributing to the development of new concepts and visual approaches.
Amend designs after feedback.
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
Collaborate with the team to decide on graphics for murder mystery parties and social media content posts.

Requirements:

3+ years of proven work experience as a Designer or similar role.
BS degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a relevant field.
A strong demonstrated portfolio of graphic work, including photo manipulation, typography, illustrations or other graphics.
Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience with Canva is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
Exhibit an infectious can-do attitude.
Maintain constant attention to brand cohesion.
Work independently or with limited guidance at times.
Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers.
Experience in designing for events or the entertainment industry is a plus.
