Freelance Videographer & Video Editor — Grit Barracks

Infinite Grit | Mesa, AZ | Freelance/Contract

Infinite Grit is looking for a talented Arizona-based videographer/editor to help us tell the story of our newest project, Grit Barracks.

Infinite Grit is a performance and coaching brand built to prepare athletes for the demands of Special Operations selection and beyond. We’ve built a community of 250K+ followers/subscribers across social media, including 80K YouTube subscribers, and our recent long-form YouTube content averages approximately 29K views per video.

WHAT IS GRIT BARRACKS?

Grit Barracks is an immersive four-day tactical performance experience hosted at the new Infinite Grit HQ in Mesa, Arizona.

Athletes will come from around the country to live, train and recover together while being coached by Jon Hamilton & the infinite grit team.

The experience will combine strength & conditioning, rucking, land navigation, outdoor training, team challenges and performance education.

Think high-level training + tactical skills + recovery + education + community, all packed into four days.

THE PROJECT

Our pilot event is January 21–24, 2027, and we’re looking for someone to document the experience from beginning to end.

Our vision is a cinematic, documentary-style YouTube film — not simply an event recap or highlight reel.

We want to capture the big moments, but also everything in between: the personalities, struggle, coaching, conversations, camaraderie, recovery and transformation throughout the four days.

We’d also like to create strong short-form content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts from the footage.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is local to the Phoenix/Mesa area

• Can film throughout the January 21–24 event

• Has strong cinematic and documentary-style storytelling skills

• Can handle both filming and editing

• Understands long-form YouTube content and pacing

• Can capture high-quality audio/interviews

• Has experience with sports, fitness, outdoor or documentary content (preferred)

This has the potential to become an ongoing partnership. Grit Barracks is being built as a recurring Infinite Grit experience, and we’d love to find someone who can grow creatively with the brand.

To apply, please send your portfolio/reel, relevant work, availability for January 21–24 and project pricing/rates.
