**Overview**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Publishing Editor to manage the day-to-day operations of one of our growing publishing brands. This role is ideal for a passionate editor with experience in digital media.

**Responsibilities**

Operational Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the publishing brand, ensuring smooth and efficient content production and delivery.
Maintain the publishing and scheduling cadence, ensuring that content is published 7 days a week without interruption.

Team Leadership:

Hire, train, and mentor a team of writers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Provide ongoing feedback and support to the writing team to enhance content quality and adherence to brand guidelines.

Content Quality Control:

Copy edit writers' content to ensure it meets our standards for accuracy, quality, and brand voice.
Collaborate with writers to improve content where necessary and provide constructive feedback.

Publishing Strategy:

Develop and execute a content publishing strategy that aligns with the brand’s goals and audience needs.
Analyze content performance data to make informed decisions about future content direction and strategy adjustments.

**Qualifications**

Proven experience in digital publishing, editorial management, or a similar role.
Strong editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Familiarity with digital publishing tools and platforms.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of content strategy and audience engagement.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
