We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing social media for brands and a deep understanding of content creation, community engagement, and performance analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to each client’s brand identity and objectives.
Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
Manage social media calendars and ensure timely posting in alignment with marketing campaigns.
Engage with online communities, responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions in a timely and authentic manner.
Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Stay up-to-date with platform updates, social media trends, and emerging digital marketing practices.
Prepare and present performance reports to clients, highlighting key metrics and actionable insights.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience managing social media accounts.
Strong understanding of different social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
Excellent writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and brand voice consistency.
Ability to create visually appealing content
Experience with social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Agorapulse, etc.).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
A proactive, creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience in tourism, hospitality, or consumer product industries is a plus.

This is a part-time, freelance (contract) role based in San Diego, CA.

Applicants must reside in San Diego County and be available to travel to client sites and events as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
