About the Gig:

We’re seeking a freelance Senior Social Strategist to support several exciting projects slated for Q2 and Q3. You’ll work across departments to craft compelling content strategies, drive social-first thinking, and ensure alignment between creative concepts and platform best practices. Whether it’s collaborating on creative briefs, analyzing social insights, or guiding influencer integrations, your contributions will help our clients stand out in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape. Core Responsibilities:

Social Media Authority: Demonstrate proven expertise in social media and familiarity with today's most popular platforms.
Brief Writing: Compose creative briefs specifically tailored for social-first campaigns.
Content Strategy Creation: Utilize the agency's model to develop robust content strategies that meet client objectives.
Innovation & Inspiration: Lead the advancement of social strategy, research, and communications within the agency and alongside clients.
Collaboration: Engage with multiple departments to enhance the overall effectiveness of cross-departmental projects:
- Strategy/Insights Team: Enhance strategic offerings with advanced social media insights.
- Account Team: Foster trust and transparency with client organizations through strategic social media initiatives.
- Creative and Production Teams: Collaborate on the development of campaigns that resonate culturally and are optimized for social platforms.
- Paid Media Teams: Provide key insights for media planning, focusing on optimal social platforms and ad units tailored to client goals.
- Third-Party Influencer Management Team: Strategize influencer engagement by defining goals, deliverables, and measuring impact.
Social Performance Reporting: Analyze performance data for paid and organic posts and provide actionable recommendations to enhance effectiveness.
Facilitation: Develop and implement campaign roll-out plans, content calendars, agency POVs, and other essential social strategy documents.
Intelligence Gathering: Perform social listening to shape briefs and evaluate campaign performance, linking results to broader business outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required: 8+ years of experience in a social strategy role within a creative or media agency setting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven ability to align with our values and contribute positively to team culture.
Track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals.
