Commune is seeking a contract Media Planner for a role that bridges strategic thinking with data analysis. Reporting directly to our Media Director, this role will be responsible for executing media tasks for multiple clients at each step of the media planning process.

Freelance Media Planner Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis to understand client objectives, target audiences and market dynamics
Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers, creative teams and digital specialists, to integrate media plans with overall marketing strategies
Execute, monitor and optimize media campaigns to ensure they meet performance objectives and deliver measurable results
Analyze campaign performance data and provide insights and recommendations for future optimizations and improvements
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging media technologies and best practices in media planning and buying

Freelance Media Planner Requirements:

2+ years of experience in media planning in an advertising agency or media buying firm
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
A proactive and collaborative mindset
Proficiency with V-Lookups & Pivot Tables
