Job Summary
Bowman’s Market, a locally owned grocery store, is looking for a freelance content creator to help us tell the real stories behind our people and products.

This role focuses on authentic, engaging storytelling — highlighting team members, in-store processes, local products, loyal customers, and what makes our store special.

Responsibilities

Develop original storytelling-driven content for social media, websites, email campaigns, and in-store signage
Capture on-site photo and video content
Interview staff and customers; turn conversations into compelling stories
Apply editing skills to create posts, short-form videos and reels (Instagram/Facebook), email content and in-store video and displays
Exercise judgment to ensure all content reflects the store's core values and brand
Use analytics tools to monitor content performance and refine strategies for better engagement.

Qualifications

Proven experience in content creation with a focus on storytelling across digital channels.
Skilled in Facebook, Instagram, mailchimp and social media management tools
Experience with photography and videography to produce short-form social videos
Strong storytelling instincts
Comfortable filming and editing independently
Self-starter who brings ideas, not just execution
Comfortable engaging employees and customers in a retail environment
Ability to make everyday moments engaging

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
