Position Summary

We are seeking a part time Junior Graphic Designer. To start the role is expected to be 20-25 hours per week with the opportunity to grow into a permanent full time position. The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for creating digital designs for use across websites, email campaigns, social media, and other marketing channels. The Junior Graphic Designer has a strong eye for detail, the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and a passion for creating engaging designs that drive business growth. The Junior Graphic designer must be proficient in the latest graphic editing software and have an intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Essential Functions

Create visually appealing designs for a variety of areas including product pages, landing pages, and homepages.
Update and create new web pages from existing templates.
Design email campaigns, social media posts, and other marketing materials that align with brand guidelines and drive engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and development, to ensure designs meet business objectives and customer needs.
Manage and organize design files, including maintaining an asset library, adhering to naming conventions, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices, and apply them to our materials.

Competencies

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability in the face of changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Highly dependable, punctual, and consistent.
Familiarity with ecommerce principles and practices is a plus.

Educations and/or Experience

4 Year degree in graphic design/a related field.
4 Years of proficient computer use
2+ years Adobe Creative Suite
1+ years HTML/CSS
Excellent knowledge of the internet and common computer applications including the Microsoft Office Suite

About The Role

Hybrid (2 days a week in office, 3 days a week WFH opportunity)
20-25 hours part time with opportunity to grow into a full time position
$20-$22 hourly DOE
