A Case for Women is seeking a Freelance SEO Content Writer to join our growing Marketing department. This position is fully remote, and you will work with a team of collaborative and talented individuals. We were founded eight years ago by a mother-daughter team that knew firsthand the ways women were disproportionately hurt by greedy corporations and yet vastly underserved by the legal system. Our team c 70 now works nationwide to connect women and their families to plaintiff law firms that not only help individuals but also use the power of lawsuits to create systematic change.

The Position

The Freelance SEO Content Writer is a contract position requiring not more than 20 hours per week. You will be responsible for creating high quality and engaging content that reflects A Case for Women's ideals and brand.

Content will be specific to A Case for Women and/or A Case for Justice website, including blogs, SEO-optimized website content, landing pages, newsletters, and other content as needed.

Detailed content briefs will be provided to the writer, and content turned in to ACFW team must follow the brief and be completed in a timely manner.

Researching topics as assigned and carefully citing sources in content will be required.

Regularly communicating with the ACFW marketing team.

Pitching possible content to ACFW team.

About You

Two-three years' experience as a writer for digital platforms.

College degree preferred, but not required.

Strong background in online research and fact checking.

Candidates should be prepared to provide high content volume on a weekly basis.

A willingness and ability to adhere to brand guidelines.

Experience in professional services, particularly the legal field, is preferred.

Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and how it applies to content.

Ability to pay close attention to detail, complete tasks in a timely manner, juggle multiple

responsibilities, and to keep up in a fast paced dynamic environment that is changing daily.

Writer must be US-based

Ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to create content without the assistance of Al.

What we Offer

This is a fully remote freelance position.

The level of compensation would be determined by experience and expertise and will be based on project submission.

A Case for Women has a competitive compensation structure.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
