We are looking for an experiencedFreelance Graphic Designer to design various digital and print marketing materials for Artists & Fleas. Successful candidates will have previous in-house or agency experience with consumer brands and related marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities

Working within brand guidelines to create:

Digital templates and graphics for email, site, and social.
Print templates and graphics for market experience and advertising touchpoints.
Design work can encompass evergreen, seasonal and event-specific applications.

Critical Skills

Collaboration & Imagination: The original and creative thinking to transform concepts into visual executions.
Design Expertise: A keen eye for detail with a deep understanding of typography, hierarchy of messaging, composition, and their applications across platforms.
Self-Management: Ability to independently manage and execute briefs to guarantee on-time delivery. This includes professional and proactive communication about deadlines and schedules, ensuring one round of feedback.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND AVAILABILITY

Minimum 2 years professional graphic design experience.
Minimum 2 years consumer brand experience.
Fast learner, self-driven, and naturally curious.
A strong love and understanding for all things design! Plugged into design trends and innovations a plus.
East Coast-based due to coordination and collaboration with our HQ team.
Preferred NYC-based for potential in-person collaboration.

COMPENSATION

$75/hour at approx. 10 hours per week; room for hours to increase given business needs .
