Social Media Content Creator (Freelance)

Our model revolves around connecting talented freelance marketers with clients for dedicated, personalized social media management. We are currently expanding our team and seeking a skilled Social Media Content Creator to enhance our content delivery.
Job Overview:
As a freelance Social Media Content Creator, you will play a pivotal role in crafting highly engaging and effective social media content for one of our cilents, which is a birthing center located in Phoenix, AZ. Your primary focus will be on Instagram, alongside other platforms like Facebook. This role requires a blend of speed, efficiency, and the ability to weave emotion-based storytelling into content, which is crucial for resonating with our audience.
Because our client is located in Phoenix, AZ, we do require that you live in or surrounding the Phoenix area. Although the role is remote, 1-2 on-site visits monthly are required to capture photos and videos for the client.
Membership Requirement:
To qualify for this role, candidates must also become a member of the Marketing Fems Academy, our mentorship and coaching program designed to help freelancers excel in their marketing careers. Membership involves a $55/month fee that cannot be waived. As part of the Academy, members are required to attend a weekly meeting every Tuesday from 6-7:30 pm. The Academy provides valuable resources, guidance, and networking opportunities to support your professional growth and success as a freelancer in the marketing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create compelling and engaging social media content for females interested in a natural birth, with a strong emphasis on Instagram.
- Provide rapid content creation support when freelancers are behind schedule, ensuring timely delivery.
- Utilize emotion-based storytelling techniques to enhance the impact and relatability of content.
- Maintain active communication with the team via Slack and ensure quick turnaround times for projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in creating high-quality social media content.
- Expertise in Instagram content creation, with strong skills in LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Ability to produce content efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with emotion-based storytelling.
- Must be available to respond to all messages on Slack during business hours..
Work Schedule:
- This is a freelance position requiring 15-20 hours of commitment per month, with potential for increased hours as our organization grows.
- Flexibility for quick project turnaround and daytime availability for team communication is essential.
