We are seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Graphic Designer to support our Digital Advocacy team as a contingent worker within the Marketing & Communications department. This designer will be instrumental in crafting compelling and visually stunning ads tailored for social media platforms, aiming to drive engagement and influence our target audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design, an understanding of social media trends, and the ability to translate complex ideas into captivating visuals.
As a Digital Graphic Designer, you'll work cross-functionally to develop compelling visuals for multiple channels. Working alongside a collaborative and driven team, you'll thrive in our fast-paced environment, where every action you take has a tangible and meaningful impact on our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality graphics and ad content for various social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and more.
- Create multiple versions of content that can be used across different platforms and formats to ensure our message reaches and engages the audience wherever they are.
- Collaborate with the Digital Advocacy team to understand campaign objectives and create visual assets that align with strategic goals.
- Ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency across different platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and platform updates to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Work closely with copywriters, marketers, and other stakeholders to develop cohesive and effective ad campaigns.
- Utilize data and analytics to refine and optimize ad designs based on performance metrics.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Provide creative input and ideation during brainstorming sessions to develop innovative campaign concepts.
- Maintain a digital archive of all creative assets, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a graphic designer, with a focus on social media advertising.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their specific design requirements.
- Experience in creating adaptable content that can be repurposed for various channels and formats.
- Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail, color, typography, and layout.
- Ability to create engaging animations and GIFs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to handle feedback and revisions constructively.
