We are seeking a Video Editor with Paid Media experience to join our clients growing creative team. As the Video Editor, you will edit and produce high-quality paid media assets and short form videos for various social media platforms, CTVS, and digital channels, ensuring they align with the brand's visual identity and meet the desired objectives. You will collaborate with the brand and creative teams to develop video concepts and take ownership of video projects from start to finish including editing and post-production. Use Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.) to edit paid media assets and videos, add visual effects, and enhance overall video quality. This position is a fully remote, 3-6 month freelance assignment that is 30-40 hours a week. Candidates located on EST or CST time zones are highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Create short form paid social media assets and videos for various social media platforms, CTVS and digital platforms.
- Manipulate and edit paid media content and creative assets to create short form videos and advertisements.
- Collaborate with account team to assess project, vision, expectation, and needs.
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the videos.
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
- Create rough and final cuts.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in editing short form videos for social media and paid media assets.
- Experienced in creating and editing videos for CTVS, digital platforms and short form social media videos for TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube, etc.
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, to create visually appealing and engaging videos.
- Strong knowledge of video production techniques, lighting, audio recording, and post-production processes.
- Excellent storytelling and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Portfolio showcasing paid media and social media samples.
- Nice to have skills that are not required includes motion graphic design in AfterEffects.
