We’re looking to hire a Freelance Production Artist/Package Designer for our pharmaceutical company client.
- You’ll join the Creative Team to create product packaging artwork.
- 3 + years experience in artwork production for packaging in the Pharmaceutical industry.
- This is a 6 month role with the opportunity to extend.
- The role is hybrid onsite 3x a week in Irvine, California.
- Hourly Pay: $43hr.
Responsibilities:
- Create and edit artwork packaging specifications, equipment specifications, print supplier requirements.
- Review artwork for adherence to requested changes, technical requirements, and printing considerations.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Art Design, Print Media.
- Must have experience in multi-page formatting, typesetting long documents, and stylesheets. Foreign Language typesetting experience preferred but not necessary.
- 3 + years experience in artwork production for packaging in the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Skilled in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and Barcode Software.
- Knowledge of pre-press file preparation, printing, and packaging industry practices.
