We’re looking to hire a talented Junior Visual Designer to join our financial services client’s team and contribute to creating visually stunning experiences. In this role, you will assist in designing high-quality graphics, animations, and visual elements for digital and print media. A keen eye for detail, a strong grasp of design principles, and the ability to adapt to the brand's visual identity are key to your success.
This is a project opportunity until July 2025. The role is located in Jersey City, NJ, on a hybrid basis, with three days/week in the office and two days remotely.
Junior Visual Designer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to understand project goals and objectives.
- Assist in creating assets, graphics, and layouts for both digital and print media.
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, quality, accessibility, usability and maintain visual consistency.
- Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Establish an organized file naming and management system to streamline workflow and enhance team collaboration.
Junior Visual Designer Requirements:
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques for both print and web.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), Figma, and similar design tools.
- Stay current with design trends and best practices, integrating them into your work as needed.
- A portfolio showcasing a wide range of creative projects.
- Ability to take direction and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality designs.
